The Tiffin Fire Department is scheduled to take possession of its new fire truck before the end of this calendar year. To ensure a smooth transition between the current and new apparatus, the sale of the existing fire truck must be completed in a timely manner. Following both public and private advertisement, an offer was received from the Baker Rural Fire Protection District in Baker City, Oregon, in the amount of $100,000.00 for the purchase of the 2009 International MaxForce 9 Fire Truck (Unit 152). It is recommended that the City Council approve the sale of the 2009 International MaxForce 9 Fire Truck (Unit 152), along with the equipment listed below, to the Baker Rural Fire Protection District for $100,000, as specified in the attached bill of sale. 2009 International MaxForce 9, VIN: 1HTWEAZR39J122462 Included Equipment: • 16,500 lb.
