AGENDA ITEM # K-3 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: October 29, 2025 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Pay Application #10 – Rathje Construction, Original Town ACTION: Approval Overview This report is submitted for Council consideration of Pay Estimate #10 from Rathje Construction Co. for work completed on the Original Town Urbanization – Phase 3 project. Project Background This pay estimate covers a wide range of completed items including: • Clearing and grubbing • Excavation and subgrade preparation • Storm sewer installation • Watermain and hydrant work • PCC pavement and sidewalk installation • Curb and gutter • Electrical circuits and light poles • Traffic control and erosion control measures • Additional work from approved change orders (e.g., retaining wall replacement, water service abandonment, subgrade stabilization) Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Estimate #10 in the amount of $170,549.10 to Rathje Construction Co. for work completed on the Original Town Urbanization Phase 3 project.
