CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL October 29, 2026 • Work continues to progress on the Forevergreen Road and Jasper Avenue Improvements Project. This week included more work on the west and south leg of the roundabout. Traffic is still navigating through the intersection on the north half of the new roundabout with the 3-way stop controlled intersection. The tentative substantial completion date for the project is November 14th. • The Substantial Completion Evaluation walk-through took place on Wednesday, October 28th. The walk-through went well and a small punchlist was developed. Miron is working on those items. I hope to have an estimated final completion date prior the Monday’s meeting. • The deadline for submitting Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) for the fire station evaluation, planning, and design services was Friday, October 16. The City received 15 submittals. The review committee met on Wednesday, October 28th, to narrow the field and identify the finalists. During my report, we will review the committee’s recommendations and discuss potential dates and times for interviews with the selected firms. • The next joint work session with the Clear Creek Amana School is on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the District Office in Oxford. Attached is the agenda for the meeting. • The City’s Auditors will be here on Tuesday, November 10th through Thursday, November 12th, to conduct the FY 2025-2026 audit. We continue to be very pleased with our partnership with BerganKDV and look forward to continuing our work with them for this year. • Just a friendly reminder that City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
