RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 069 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE JUNE 1, 2025, FORA PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Katherine Campbell, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the location map, known as the ' Katherine Campbell south 50 feet' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Matthew and Erica Miller, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the location map, known as the ' Miller south 50 feet' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Douglas Campbell, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the location map, known as the ' Douglas Campbell south 50 feet' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Joseph Meade Trust, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the location map, known as the ' Meade Parcel' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Carew Enterprises, to annex a certain properly into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the location map, known as the ' Carew Enterprises Parcel' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation on a 0 vote at its 5- May 14, 2025 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for July 1, 2025, to discuss the annexation of certain properties to the City of Tiffin. On the 17thday of June, 2025, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 068,A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JULY1, 2025, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
