RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FULL RELEASE AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WHEREAS, a Settlement Agreement has been reached between the City of Tiffin, the City of Coralville, the City of North Liberty, Clint Rarick and the Ruth E. Rarick Trust; and, WHEREAS, the agreement determines the Terms and Conditions of the settlement; and, WHEREAS, a copy of said agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and, WHEREAS, this Agreement is made and entered into by the City of Tiffin, the City of Coralville, the City of North Liberty, Clint Rarick and the Ruth E. Rarick Trust, NOW BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign and execute the Full Release and Settlement Agreement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Tiffin City Council that said Agreement is hereby approved as to form and content and is found to be in the best interest of the City of Tiffin. On the 21St day of January, 2025, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 010,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FULL RELEASE AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 010, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FULL RELEASE AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
