RESOLUTION NO. 2020-102 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Chad and Rosanne Payne, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and Whereas, the location map, addressed as 3235 Ireland Avenue NW and known as the 'Half Moon Parcel' property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation on a 5-0 vote at its October 14, 2020 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for January 5, 2021, to discuss the annexation of the 'Half Moon Parcel' property located at 3235 Ireland Avenue NW. On the 15th day of December, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-102, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Schnedler, Bartels, Limkemann, Olney, Havens Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-102, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
