RESOLUTIONNO.2020-023 ARESOLUTIONSETTINGTHEDATESFORTHEPUBLICHEARINGONTHEPLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORMOFCONTRACTANDESTIMATEOFCOST,OPENINGOF BIDSANDAUTHORIZINGPUBLICATIONOFNOTICESFORTHEORIGINALTOWN URBANIZATIONPROJECT PHASETWO Whereas,Hart-Frederick Consultants PC, hasprepared thePlans, Specifications and Contract Documents fortheconstruction oftheOriginal Town Urbanization Project Phase Two; Now,thereforebeitresolved bytheCityCouncil oftheCity ofTiffin, Iowa: 1. Thedate fortheopening andpublic reading ofbidsfortheProject issetfor April 30,2020, at10:00a.m.and, 2. Thedate forthePublic Hearing oftheProject issetforMay5,2020, at 7:00p.m.and, 3. Thedate forconsideration ofbidsfortheProject bytheCityCouncil issetatMay 5,2020, at7:00P.M.andwillbeacted upon atsuch timeandplace oratsuch timeandplace asmaythenbeset. 4. That theCityCouncil hereby directs theCityClerk tohave published theNotice ofHearing oftheContract Documents fortheProject inanewspaper ofgeneral circulation intheCity, which publication shall bemade atleast once, notlessthan four (4)andnotmore than twenty (20) days prior tothedate ofthesaid hearing. 5. That theCityCouncil hereby directs theCityClerk tohave published theNotice toBidders ofthebidletting fortheProject byposting atleast once, notlessthan thirteen (13)andnotmore than forty-five (45)days prior tothedate setforreceipt ofbids, ineach ofthefollowing three places: (i)inarelevant contractor plan room service withstatewide circulation; (ii)inarelevant construction lead generating service with statewide circulation; and (iii)onaninternet site sponsored byeither theCity orastatewide association thatrepresents theCity. Onthe24 thdayofMarch, 2020, ataregular meeting oftheTiffinCityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2020-023,ARESOLUTION SETTINGTHEDATESFORTHEPUBLICHEARINGONTHEPLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORMOFCONTRACTANDESTIMATEOFCOST,OPENINGOF BIDSANDAUTHORIZINGPUBLICATIONOFNOTICESFORTHEORIGINALTOWN URBANIZATIONPROJECT PHASETWOandmade amotion forapproval.
