RESOLUTION NO. 2019-061 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Hightower Development, Inc. to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and Whereas, the location map of the property (known as the PirkI property) is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation on a 4-0 vote at its April 10, 2019 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for June 4, 2019, to discuss the annexation of the PirkI property. On the 7th day of May, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-061, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Upton, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-061, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
