RESOLUTION NO. 2019-059 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR 2019 SANITARY SEWER INFLOW & INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT – PHASE ONE: SEWER CLEANING AND INSPECTION Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received a proposal on May 2, 2019, for the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Inflow & Infiltration Reduction Project – Phase One: Sewer Cleaning and Inspection; and, Whereas, the City Council has identified this project within the Sanitary Sewer Study performed by Hart-Frederick Consultants; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with the lowest, most responsible bidder as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 7th day of May, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-059, A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR 2019 SANITARY SEWER INFLOW & INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT – PHASE ONE: SEWER CLEANING AND INSPECTION and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Upton, Ryan, Havens, Schnedler, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2019-059, A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR 2019 SANITARY SEWER INFLOW & INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT – PHASE ONE: SEWER CLEANING AND INSPECTION to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
