RESOLUTION NO. 2018-007 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE PARCEL 104 NORTH PARK ROAD FROM R-1E TO P-1 IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes that rezoning is necessary to satisfy the proposed new Clear Creek Amana Elementary School, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve setting a public hearing date of February 20th, 2018, to discuss the Rezoning of Parcel 104 North Park Road from R-1E to P-1. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning at its January 24, 2018 meeting. On the 6th day of February, 2018, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2018-007, A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE PARCEL 104 NORTH PARK ROAD FROM R-1E TO P-1 and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Schnedler, Upton, Havens, Ryan, Bartels. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2018-007, A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE PARCEL 104 NORTH PARK ROAD FROM R-1E TO P-1 to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
