Whereas,theState ofIowa haspassed newrules andregulations inreference tothe
sale offireworks within Iowa; and,
Whereas,theCityCouncil would liketohave anordinance todeal withtheuseandsale
offireworks within thecitylimits,
Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa, thatthe
date forthePublic Hearing issetforOctober 17,2017, todiscuss anordinance
addressing theuseoffireworks within thecitylimits ofTiffin.

Onthe3dayofOctober, 2017, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2017-097,A
RESOLUTIONSETTINGTHEDATEFORAPUBLICHEARINGREGARDING
FIREWORKSREGULATIONSandmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner
declared thattheRESOLUTIONNO.2017-097,ARESOLUTIONSETTINGTHEDATE
FORAPUBLICHEARINGREGARDINGFIREWORKSREGULATIONStobeadopted
andsignified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto.
