RESOLUTION NO. 2017-083 A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOT 1, HOYT’S 1st SUBDIVISION FROM R-1E TO C-1B IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes that rezoning is necessary to satisfy the proposed development for Hoyt’s 1st Subdivision, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve setting a public hearing date of October 3, 2017, to discuss the Rezoning of Lot 1, Hoyt’s 1st Subdivision from R-1E to C-1B. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning at its September 13, 2017 meeting. On the 19th day of September, 2017, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017-083, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOT 1, HOYT’S 1st SUBDIVISION FROM R-1E TO C-1B and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler. Nays: None. Absent: Upton Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2017-083, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOT 1, HOYT’S 1st SUBDIVISION FROM R-1E TO C-1B to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
