DocuSign Envelope ID: DE04CDDA- 3E33- 4333- 823A- C93C35898BD7 RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 017 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO INSTITUTE A ONE- TIME SEWER ADJUSTMENT ORDINANCE Whereas, the City Council has had requests within the last several months to waive or adjust individual utility bills due to high usage, mechanical malfunction or other unforeseen circumstances; and, Whereas, the City Council would like to have a process to deal with such circumstances, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the date for the Public Hearing is set for April 4, 2017, to discuss an ordinance amendment to potentially allow for a one- time sewer adjustment to a property owner's utility bill. 21St On the day of March, 2017, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Kahler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 017, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO INSTITUTE A ONE- TIME SEWER ADJUSTMENT ORDINANCE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Kahler. Nays: None. Absent: Ryan. Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 017, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO INSTITUTE A ONE- TIME SEWER ADJUSTMENT ORDINANCE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto. 21St Passed by the City Council on the day of March, 2017.
