RESOLUTION NO. 2013-085 A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION PAID PER MEETING TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBERS Whereas, The City recognizes that City Council and Planning & Zoning members get paid a per meeting rate of $20 for attendance and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the Board of Adjustment should also receive compensation of $20 per meeting attended; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve setting a public hearing date on May 22, 2013 to add compensation paid of $20 per meeting attended to the Board of Adjustment Members. On the 08th day of May, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-085, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION PAID PER MEETING TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBERS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler Nays: none: Absent: none. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2013-085, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION PAID PER MEETING TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBERS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
