RESOLUTION NO. __________ RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND FORM OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2003 WELL #4 PROJECT WHEREAS, on the 25th day of August 2003, plans, specifications and form of contract were filed with the City of Tiffin, Iowa for the construction of the 2003 WELL #4 PROJECT in and for the City of Tiffin, Iowa WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on these plans, specifications, and form of contract was published as required by law. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN: That the said plans, specifications and form of contract are hereby approved for said project. RESOLUTION ________________ APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2003 WELL #4 PROJECT UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND RECOMMENDATION BY THE PROJECT ENGINEER WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tiffin has received bids for the 2003 WELL #4 PROJECT; and WHEREAS, the City Council has identified an apparent bidder as having the lowest, most responsible bid; and WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to expedite the contractual process; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN: To authorize the Mayor, Glenn Potter, and the City Clerk, Margaret Reihman, to sign all necessary notices, documents, and forms of contract, as required and necessary to execute a contract with the lowest bidder, as identified and recommended by the Project Engineer.
