RESOLUTION NO. 1993-27_ A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR BUILDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION SERVICES WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin regulates buildings within its corporate boundries; and WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the services of a qualified building inspector for the purpose of enforcing city and state building code standards within the City of Tiffin NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA, that the City Council of the City of Tiffin hereby approves the proposed contract attached hereto and marked "Attachment A " providing for the services of Jeff Mitchell as building inspector for the City of Tiffin. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the same. On the 8th day of December, 1993, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, lowa, Councilerson__HKrown introduced @ the above-captioned resolution, and made a motion for approval of the resolution. The motion was seconded by Councilperson_Ravtels Ayes: arewn, Moraan, Kern and Bartels Nays:_ftpcent: Seton The motion carried. WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR BUILDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION SERVICES be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
