CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE NO. 2019-451 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, SECTION 95.6 OF CHAPTER 95, SERVICE OUTSIDE THE CITY BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: Section I. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Section 95.6 of Chapter 95 of the Municipal Code of Tiffin, Iowa, by eliminating Section 95.6, Service Outside the City. Section II. Amendment. Section 95.6 of Chapter 95 is hereby amended as follows: CHAPTER 95 SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM 95.6—SERVICE OUTSIDE THE CITY. The owners of property outside the corporate limits of the City so situated that it may be served by the City sewer system may apply to the Council for permission to connect to the public sewer upon the terms and conditions stipulated by resolution of the Council. Section III. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section IV. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section V. When Effective. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 5th day of March 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced Ordinance No. 2019-451, and moved that it be given its first reading.
