CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 2018-433 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-287 AMENDING SECTION 3, REPLACING THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS AND TABLE C AND AMENDING SECTION 13, PERMITS AND FEES, BY ADDING RESTRICTED USE PERMIT BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 2007-287, Section 3, replacing the Commercial Districts and Table C and amending Section 13, Permits and Fees. Section 2. Amendment. Section 3, Commercial Districts – Business, Office, Specialized is replaced as follows: See attachment. Section 3. Amendment. Section 13, Permits and Fees is amended as follows: See attachment. Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 6. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 15th day of May 2018, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Ordinance No. 2018-433, and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Upton, Havens, Bartels, Ryan, Schnedler, Nays: Four members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Steve Berner declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2018-433, was read the first time, discussed, and placed on record. On the 5th day of June 2018, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Ordinance No. 2018-433, and moved that it be given its second reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Upton, Bartels Nays: None
