CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 2016-382 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-287 AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO ADDING TAVERNS/BARS TO BUSINESS LIST AND AMENDING RESTAURANT USES IN ALL COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: Section I. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 2007-287, Section 3, Commercial Districts, Table C, to allow the permitted use of Taverns/bars and to amend characteristics of restaurants. Section II. Amendment. Section 3, Commercial Districts; the following is added to TABLE C, SERVICE USES: (See table below) Tavern/Bar, permitted use, C-1B,C-2B,C-10,C-20,C1-S. Characteristics: Entertainment, dancing and servicing of alcoholic beverages. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section IV. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section V. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law.
