CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE NO: 2014-349 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, TO CHANGE THE DEFINITION OF 'DESIGN STANDARDS' UNDER SECTION 2.01(9A) BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: Section I. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Section 3.05, City of Tiffin, Iowa Subdivision Ordinance, to change the change the definition of "Design Standards" under Section 2.01(9A). Section II. Amendment: Section 2.01(9A) of the City of Tiffin Iowa Subdivision Ordinance is hereby replaced with the following: 2.01 TERMS DEFINED 9A. "Design Standards" means the City of Tiffin, Iowa Design Standards as adopted by Resolution No.1997-21 and SUDAS, as adopted by Resolution 2013-195 as may be from time-to-time amended thereafter by action of the City Council. Section III. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section IV. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section V. When Effective. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 26th day of February 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Ordinance No. 2014-349, and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Petersen. Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton Nays: none Five members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Steve Berner declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2014-349, was read the first time, discussed, and placed on record.
