TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, September 5, 1973, City of Tiffin, Tiffin, Iowa. Mayor Stratton presiding. Present: Bev Birtcher, Kandy Kobold, and Glenn Potter. Absent: Roger Janssen and Ted Spivey. Glenn Potter moved to approve the minutes. Bev Birtcher seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Bev Birtcher moved that a 12 cubic foot refrigerator be purchased for $199.00 from Flansburg Hardware if the size is satisfactory with Ralph Brown. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved that Glenn D. Shoemaker be officially appointed as City Engineer for the City of Tiffin. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved to approve a beer and liquor permit for the Lark Supper Club. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved to table the request for a Sunday liquor permit for the Lark Cafe. Bev Birtcher seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved to approve an 18 month budget of $21,706 for January 1, 1974 to June 30, 1975. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Bev Birtcher moved to pay the following bills. Kandy seconded the motion.
