AGENDA ITEM # K-4 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: May 29, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Pay Application #9 – Tricon Construction – Tiffin Water Treatment Facility Upgrade Project ACTION: Motion Background Tricon Construction Group has submitted Pay Application No. 9 for work completed on the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project through May 20, 2026. The application has been reviewed by the City's engineering consultant, MSA Professional Services, and reflects construction activities completed during the current pay period. The Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project remains one of the City's largest infrastructure investments and is critical to supporting Tiffin's continued growth, system reliability, and long- term water capacity needs. Construction activities continue on multiple components of the project, including treatment process facilities, site improvements, electrical systems, piping, and structural work. Recommendation Staff and MSA Professional Services recommend approval of Pay Application No. 9 submitted by Tricon Construction Group in the amount of $904,401.14. The work associated with this payment request has been reviewed and is consistent with project progress achieved during the current billing period. ATTACHMENTS: Pay Application 1
