Roll Call The CityofTiffin City Council heldawork session Tuesday, January 21, 2025, attheCityHall Council Chambers. Mayor Kasparek called themeeting toorder at6:05PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, AlHavens present viaphone, Chris Olney, Tim Orris andSkylar Limkemann arrived at6:25PM. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt, Assistant City Administrator Ashley Platz andCity Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda byOlney. Second byOrris. Allayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion ofCity Council Meeting Structure, Agenda and Resources Discussion: Council Member Schnedler and Assistant City Administrator Ashley Platz reviewed themeeting policy andcode ofethics forCity meetings. They discussed implementing avisual timer tomanage speaking times, with theMayor having theauthority toadjust time limits foreffective discussion flow. The Mayor should usethegavel asneeded and summarize discussions tokeep themeeting moving. They emphasized theimportance oftabling resolutions ifdiscussions become lengthy. They also considered moving Council reports towork sessions andhaving reports submitted inadvance. Additionally, they discussed theprocess foradding items totheagenda andexpressed interest inseeing pricing anddesign options fortheCouncil Chambers. D. Discussion and Review ofFY2025-2026 Budget E.
