Roll Call B. The City ofTiffin City Council held awork session Tuesday, August 19, 2025, attheCity Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Kasparek called themeeting toorder at5:32PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler (arrived at5:44PM), AlHavens, Chris Olney, Tim Orris and Skylar Limkemann. Others present were City Administrator Doug Boldt, Assistant City Administrator Ashley Platz andCityClerk Abigail Hora. C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda byOlney. Second byOrris. Allayes, agenda approved. D. Discussion and Review ofRecreation Center Total Bidand not-to-exceed Construction Cost Discussion: Patrick Myers from Miron Construction presented andreviewed BidPackage 2with theCouncil. The bids came infavorable, resulting intheoverall project cost being $1.8 million below theguaranteed maximum price (GMP). Ofthatamount, $1million willberemoved from theproject, and $350,000 hasbeen allocated toestablish anowner contingency allowance. E. Discussion and Update ontheExterior Elevations oftheJohnson County EMA Storage Facility Discussion: Dave Wilson andLuke Leyden presented updated exterior elevation options fortheJohnson County EMA storage facility. The council preferred theroofline design from Option 2Abutfavored the exterior materials and finishes from Option 2Bapproval toproceed with their next step intheproject. F.
