Roll Call The City ofTiffin City Council held awork session Tuesday, September 16, 2025, attheSpringmier Community Library located inside theClear Creek Amana Middle School. Mayor Kasparek called the meeting toorder at6:00PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: EricSchnedler, Al Havens, Chris Olney, Tim Orris andSkylar Limkemann. Others present were CityAdministrator Doug Boldt, Assistant CityAdministrator Ashley Platz andCity Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda byOlney. Second byHavens. Allayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion and Review ofParks and Recreation Job Description Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt reviewed thecurrent jobdescription for theParks and Recreation Director. Council agreed tokeep thetitle asis,gauge interest from candidates, andnetwork attheLeague Conference. Theupdated jobdescription responsibilities forthenew Recreation Center willbeincluded and willbebrought tothenext council meeting, after which theposition willbeposted. D. Discussion: The AED presentation, given byFire Marshal Erb, highlighted theimportance ofkeeping AEDs professional service, proper documentation, andassigning responsibility toensure reliability andpublic safety. E. Questions from Council Members regarding items ontheRegular City Council Agenda orReports F. Other Business G. Adjournment Motion toadjourn byLimkemann. Second bySchnedler.
