AGENDA ITEM # K-2 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: October 1, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Tiffin Recreation Center Rental Rates & Agreement ACTION: Motion Background As the Tiffin Recreation Center prepares to offer facility rental opportunities, staff has developed a standardized Recreation Center Rental Agreement and corresponding fee schedule. The agreement is intended to establish clear expectations for renters while providing staff with a consistent process for reservations, payment, cancellations, damage deposits, facility use, and cleanup responsibilities. The proposed agreement identifies the Recreation Center spaces and amenities available for rental, including the Community Room, kitchenette, basketball courts, volleyball court, pickleball court, turf room, batting cage, and a Birthday Party Package. The agreement also establishes general facility-use requirements and room-specific policies. These provisions address responsible adult supervision, use of reserved spaces, setup and cleanup, equipment use, food and beverages, prohibited activities, facility access, and compliance with staff direction.
